How to Embed TikTok Videos in WordPress

Do you want to embed TikTok videos on your WordPress website? WordPress has added some built-in embed options for your posts and pages. In this video, we’ll show you how to easily embed TikTok videos in WordPress and show your recent TikTok videos automatically.

This video is sponsored by Smash Balloon, a powerful plugin to help you optimize your site for search engines, take a look at Smash Balloon here:

=================================
https://smashballoon.com/
=================================

For our discount, use our code: WPBVIP

For the first method, we are using the default block editor and will copy a URL from TikTok and paste it into a post or page. WordPress should automatically generate an embed that you can see in your edit area.

You can also use the plus icon and add a TikTok block to your post to include it that way. Should you want to add it to your widget area, you would want to add a Text widget and paste the TikTok URL there, WordPress should automatically change the URL to an embed for your visitors.

If you want to show your most recent posts on TikTok you would want to install and activate the QuadLayers TikTok Feed plugin found below:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-tiktok-feed/

You should now be able to go under TikTok Feed in your wp-admin area and the feeds section in the submenu is where we head next. Click the +Feed button where you can start creating your first feed. You can choose a hashtag or user name and customize how the feed is displayed. Once you save it you will now be given a shortcode to add where you would like it to appear.

For in post/page content you would want to use the shortcode block for embedding. The plugin can be edited to change how the videos are displayed including a popup and how hovering over the different sections works on your site.

How to Fix Facebook Incorrect Thumbnail Issue in WordPress

Have you had an incorrect post thumbnail when you share your articles on Facebook? It’s a common error that beginners can run into because knowing how to make the right thumbnail show up is not always clear. In this video, we will show you how to fix the Facebook incorrect thumbnail issue in WordPress.

This video is sponsored by MonsterInsights, a powerful plugin to help you use your analytics information to the fullest, take a look at MonsterInsights here:

=================================
https://www.monsterinsights.com/
=================================

For our discount, use our code: WPBVIP

One way to show the thumbnail you’re wanting to would be to install and activate the All in One SEO plugin found below:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/

With the plugin installed and activated you would want to go under All in One SEO, Feature Manager, and activate the ‘Social Meta’ box. After that, you’ll now have a new box under your post editor for your social settings. Click on the Upload Image next to the Custom Image section to add the image you want to appear.

Don’t forget to clear any caching on your site to ensure the image can be crawled properly.

For a second method if you do not want to use All in One SEO then you would want to activate Yoast SEO found below:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

With it activated you can scroll down when editing a post to the Yoast SEO meta box and click on the Social tab. You will see an Upload Image button where you can upload the image you would like to see on Facebook.

Facebook also has a debug tool to help clear Facebook’s cache, you would want to copy the URL of your WordPress post and paste it into the tool. Should the image be incorrect you can request Facebook scrape the site again for your updated image. Facebook’s debugger can be found on the page below:

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

For the first recommended method we recommend creating short videos or versions of your videos letting your viewers know that you have a YouTube channel and you have some long-form content that they may like.

For the second method, if you have a website then we would recommend embedding your Instagram and YouTube on to your site. To do that we will be using two of the tools from Smash Balloon, you can use our code above for a great discount.

Once you purchase the YouTube and Instagram versions, go to your site under Plugins, Add New, Upload and add the zip files to your WordPress site. Now you can add your license key to the settings of the plugin and connect your Instagram to allow you to start embedding. We will go through the same process for connecting your site to YouTube to set that up as well.

Now when you visit a post or page with the block editor there should be an Instagram Feed and a YouTube feed that you can place and style how you want on your site.

Lastly, if you want to jump-start your followers we would recommend running a giveaway on your site with a plugin like RafflePress. RafflePress gives you multiple tools and customizations for you to use.

►How to Install a WordPress Theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIPQRQLAz90

For the first method we will be using the block editor in WordPress itself. In your post or page ediotr you would want to click the + symbol in your editor to add a new block and select the ‘Table’ element.

This will bring up a prompt asking you how may columns and rows you would like to include in your table. Start with what would work for you, the number of each can be changed so don’t worry there. In the block options you will have multiple different design options that you can choose and modify.

For the second, more advanced option, we will be using the TablePress plugin found using the link below:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/tablepress/

With this plugin you can edit the same table and have it update across your site. This plugin is also helpful if you are still using the clasic editor on your site instead of the block editor. Tablepress has many more custimization options for you to chang to your liking and once saved you would copy the shortcode in the top right to add the table to your content.

By default, on all WordPress sites, the title and tagline for your site can be found under Settings, General in your wp-admin area. This is the default location for a WordPress site and should be where every theme allows you to change this information.

If you feel more comfortable using the WordPress customizer then you would go under Appearance, Customize in your dashboard. For most themes, this section will be under Site Identity but not all themes. If your theme does not have this section you may need to search around, for some themes it may be in the header section.
